Meet Mark Tamblyn-Watts
Thank you for visiting my website. I am a guitarist/singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada with musical influences from a large number of genres from 70s prog and pop rock to modern day dance hits. My musical background includes playing in original acts like Dirty Dick and the Trojan Test Pilots and Eclectasy in the 1990s and cover bands like Powderfinger (a Neil Young tribute) in the 2000s – 2010s. I released my first solo recording in December 2024 called “Bring Me True”, a 7 song album featuring a range of styles from blues to hard rock, old school country to prog rock. Currently I am focusing on promoting the album, working on new material and preparing to return to live performing.

This first solo release from guitarist/singer/songwriter Mark Tamblyn-Watts is a seven song collection of a range of styles with a common “70s” feel in the production. Six of the songs are original material and the remaining song is a rendition of Alan Parsons Project’s “Eye in the Sky”. The album features a number of great musicians including three drummers and two vocalists from earlier projects in Mark’s musical career. Recorded and produced by Mark Tamblyn-Watts and Ian Neilsen in Ontario, Canada.
